Annette Fontes-Evans is a licensed massage therapist, certified in Medical Massage therapy, specializing in CranioSacral Therapy and her own BoDTE™, Body Directed Therapy Experience (a therapeutic healing massage and healing energy bodywork). She is a Medical Intuitive, Reiki Master/Teacher and offers Chakra healing as well.
Since graduating in 2006 with honors from Apollo College School of Massage (now Carrington College), Annette continues to learn and become educated in various massage & bodywork therapies, focusing helping her clients help themselves heal on all levels, on pain management and pain relief for her clients. Annette is also a certified herbalist and incorporates doTerra™ essential oils into her practice.
Annette’s Story:
As an entrepreneur with a passion for helping others, I discovered massage therapy & bodywork as a career path somewhat by “accident”. Having experienced the stresses of the corporate work world and trying my hand at a variety of businesses, I was yearning for a more fulfilling work life experience. Witnessing the amazing work done on an infant by a massage therapist, I had my “AHA” moment & knew I found what I was looking for. I’ve spent my life studying and learning about how the brain & body function. I love helping others, fixing things and working with my hands. It was a perfect fit. I enrolled in massage school immediately & graduated with honors. Shortly after graduation, I founded Heavenly Bliss Therapies, LLC and haven’t looked back!
I specialize in CranioSacral Therapy, and have developed my own BoDTE™ (Body Directed Therapy Experience) Massage & BoDTE II™, whole body energy healing, bringing the best results for pain relief, pain management, and overall relaxation for the mind, body & spirit. I’ve learned I’m highly intuitive & each session is customized to address the body’s needs to assist the body’s innate healing. My therapies are not your typical “cookie cutter” therapies and most sessions are approximately 90 minutes in duration. Why a longer session? Because I’ve learned that the body needs at least this amount of time for an adequate treatment. (2 hour sessions are also available.) My therapies are suitable for people of all ages–infants through seniors.
As a practicing massage therapist for over 11 years, I love my work and constantly educate & train in new modalities & techniques to bring clients my best to help restore & improve health & well being. I like to say, “God sends me the best clients” and I am so humbled and grateful for that.
In my spare time, you’ll find me practicing yoga & qigong, walking, swimming or hiking. I love to travel and experience new adventures. Having lived in many countries and visiting over 25 different ones, I reside in Gilbert with my husband of 30 years.
